What is placenta encapsulation?
The process of encapsulating a placenta involves several steps to ensure the safe consumption and potential benefits for the postpartum mother.
Once it is picked up from your location of birth, we can begin! It will be thoroughly cleaned and prepped, following proper sanitation and preparation procedures which ensure the highest quality of capsules possible. After cleaning, the steaming process can begin, following the Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. After steaming, the placenta is dehydrated low and slow, and finally, ground into a fine powder. The powder then gets put into non-gmo/vegetarian capsules, which are stored in a glass (usually amber) container.
